It is our pleasure to welcome you to our school. Children's Creative Corner is a product of a dream I had since high school. Growing up in Naperville I was around children all the time. My mother was running a home daycare and I would help her every day after school throughout middle and high school.
Naturally I pursued my education for Early Childhood and after receiving my Bachelor's degree from North Central College in Naperville I was excited to start working as a preschool teacher.
While working for a large corporate school I noticed the difference from our family owned daycare. Teachers were not getting the needed support or being able to use their creativity outside of the curriculum.
Preschool teachers are wonderful, caring and loving individuals. By recognizing every teacher's strengths and talents, offering them continuous support and guidance we will be able to provide the best possible care for our precious little children.
After getting married to my wonderful husband Tony, with his experience in management and technology I finally had the needed support to pursue my dream of opening our own child care center. Tony inherited his passion for education from his mother who has been a teacher for over 40 years.
In 2011 we were very excited to take over Children's Creative Corner in my home town.
Our philosophy focuses attention on the development of the whole child: emotional, physical, social, and intellectual. Children learn much faster during their early years than at any other time in life. They need love and nurturing to develop a sense of trust and security that turns into confidence as they grow.
I discovered my true passion early in life and what a great way to do it with my family. We have 3 little children of our own that are growing in our center. If its not good enough for our own children it's just not good enough.
You as a parent are your child's first teacher and our biggest partner in this journey. We can change the world together one life at a time by giving our children the best start in life.
Kindest regards
Kristin and Tony Zotaj
