Before/After School Program and Summer Camp
Kindergarten through fifth graders attend the School Age Program here at Children’s Creative Corner. A Fun, Exciting, Educational atmosphere awaits you child. The classroom is set up to encourage Health, Fitness and Learning with inviting murals and learning centers.
They participate in a variety of planned curriculum activities including arts & crafts, dramatic play, music, cooking etc.
The children are given time to relax, have a snack and play outside. Other fun activities inside like Ping Pong, Foosball, WII keep students fit and healthy.
We encourage, support and assist them to do their homework or any other projects related to school. The classroom is large and organized to allow children privacy.
Busing is provided to and from Steeple Run Elementary School by the school district.
We provide transportation for children from other area elementary schools including Prairie, Ranchview, Lisle Elementary, Ellsworth, Goodrich etc.
Kids participating in the School Age Program have the opportunity to make friends, build social skills and develop new hobbies. In addition to receiving educational support and guidance, the children have fun with many recreational activities.
Summer Camp
The Corner Club Summer Camp Program runs for 9-10 weeks from June through August, and is open to children 4-10 years of age. Our 4-5 year olds make up one classroom, and 6-10 year olds make up the second class.
Every day is an adventure at the Corner Club Summer Camp!
Our campers have fun in activities such as:
- Playing Sports and Games
- Making Arts & Crafts
- Cooking and Baking
- Singing and Dancing
- Exploring our Imagination Station
- Water Day fun
- Exploring Nature
- Exploring Science & Technology
Field Trips are the best part of our camp! During the week, our campers board the bus for new adventures. Here’s a sample schedule of what a week could look like at Corner Club Summer Camp!
Monday - Start the week with a fun trip to Wilderness Falls mini golf
Tuesday - What can be better than a Water Day in the warm sun.
Wednesday - Spend a day at the Brookfield zoo visiting and learning about all those great animals
Thursday - Expend creativity and enjoy fun experiments and games at DuPage Children's Museum
Friday - Develop our skills through Soccer or Basketball camp followed by a picnic in the park
Take advantage of our flexible schedule. You can choose from just one to five days a week and as many weeks as you prefer.
